Premier Risk Solutions (PRS) offers an extensive end-to-end strategy to address your organization’s security design and engineering projects. Whether it’s a green field building program or retrofit of an existing facility, a security consultant from Premier Risk Solutions can supplement your in-house team or provide a completely outsourced option for this important role.

Site selection will determine to a great degree the success of your corporate security program, so it’s imperative your security consultant be a powerful stakeholder in the site evaluation process. PRS utilizes our proprietary industry-modified FEMA 426 All Hazards methodology combined with Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) and includes any pertinent regulatory requirements or other criteria to engage with your site selection team.

Your existing operation may be expanding into a new space or an entire purpose-built campus. Corporate security should consider making a Transitional Risk Assessment to look at existing operations and space utilization in the new environment. Unlike a standard risk assessment methodology, PRS incorporates the Three-D approach, examining designation, definition and design, and incorporating these important elements into our final report and recommendations.

PRS delivers our proprietary approach to security force analysis. This service assists your corporate security in the evaluation of your proprietary or contract security personnel. It can also serve as the basis for a vendor bid process to purchase new manned security services. A security consultant thoroughly examines the following elements and more during this program:

  • Manpower Levels
  • Officer Locations
  • Post Orders / SOPs
  • Span of Control
  • Training and Retention
  • Equipment
  • Effectiveness of Shift Hours
  • Patrol / Tour Process
  • SOC / Control Station Ops & Interface
  • Communications and Effectiveness
  • Emergency Response
  • Audit of Various Shifts

PRS has investigative specialists who, through social engineering and experienced creativity, attempt to access your organization’s properties through illicit means to test business policies, procedures and practices. Otherwise known by the military term ‘Red Team Testing’, it’s intended to be educational and a learning piece for the company. Tactics of our personnel include: Pre-Surveillance of a Property, Creation of a Cover Story, Execution of the Pen Test, and ultimately, the Debriefing Report on all activities undertaken in order to attempt to have gained illicit access or gained illicit access. This process tests the technologies and practices of the personnel empowered to enforce your policies, and exposes any vulnerabilities along with recommendations for improvement.

Our security consultant services cover a wide array of specialties, and we can create a custom product for your organization that can be facilitated via classroom, practical field exercise, WebEx or a combination thereof based on your organizational needs. Topics range from Workplace Violence Prevention & Active Shooter Response to Enterprise Risk Management & Business Continuity.

Our experience has proved that moving from an old operating location to a new one involves considerable risk, requiring special planning to mitigate. Computers, files and other confidential data is often improperly identified or left in the hands of a moving company, with all the security amassed throughout the years at risk of being wasted if it goes missing during the move. PRS can provide comprehensive pre-move planning, special move logistics security, and post-move security services to protect your very valuable trade secrets, sensitive data or valuable client information.

CPTEDCrime Prevention Through Environmental Design

Having performed over 500 large-scale CPTED reviews and designs, PRS staff are highly capable of assisting you with new, retrofit or existing campus reviews or a CPTED design process. If new construction, it’s best to engage PRS in the 0%-10% completion architectural process. Beyond the 10% mark, most architects will not consider CPTED changes without additional costs to you.

Securing our participation early on in the planning process results in enhanced design and reduced costs via replacement of some costly building materials with other more affordable ones. We see such cost reductions in 95% of the projects we become involved in, more than offsetting our fees while enhancing security efforts and winning the support of the corporate security department, which is a very valuable stakeholder at the planning table.

Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) Training

A member of our security consultant team can deliver impactful CPTED training to your in-house staff and project teams. Utilizing a combination of very visual presentations and local area field visits and re-design projects, your staff won’t forget these important crime prevention tools and how to implement them. This program can be delivered with two options or combined as a 5-day total program.

Two-Day Basics CPTED Program (Level 1): Classroom lecture and discussion format. Minimum of 5 participants; maximum of 20 participants.

Three-Day Beyond-the-Basics CPTED Program (Level 2): Classroom mixed with local field visits and design assignments with participant-led presentations.
