Rich Cinfio

Author of numerous training articles related to human threat assessment and healthcare security, Rich also developed the ‘The First 15 Minutes’ approach to healthcare emergency management.An organizational leader with over 36 years of law enforcement, security and emergency management/business continuity experience, Rich co-authored the ‘Menu Approach’ to threat assessment. Potential victims chooses response strategies specifically tailored for them, resulting in enhanced safety and a sense of empowerment.  Author of numerous training articles related to human threat assessment and healthcare security, Rich also developed the ‘The First 15 Minutes’ approach to healthcare emergency management. This approach enables anyone, regardless of experience, knowledge or background, to set up an incident command post in a clinical environment within 15 minutes to meet the service needs of an unfolding event. He also co-developed the Block, Talk & Walk self-defense program specifically designed to enhance clinician and patient safety.

Rich’s experience includes serving as Incident Commander for visiting dignitaries including a United States President, Vice-President, and other heads of state. He co-developed a human behavioral threat assessment program for a large university and instituted a proactive threat assessment protocol in a healthcare environment. Rich is highly trained and experienced in Human and Facility Threat Assessment, Conflict Resolution, Emergency Preparedness, Policy, Investigations, Leadership/Management, Emergency Management and Security Strategies.

Professional:

Over the past five-years, Rich has provided in excess of 200 training presentations on threat assessment, active shooter defense, gang awareness, emergency management, conflict resolution and leadership. His recent experience with the complexities of threat assessment involve two high profile case studies. The first involved a physician’s conduct which resulted in the introduction of organizational safety strategies including a restraining order, and eventual prosecution for violations of the law. The second case involved over 600 threats received by a world-renowned artist. Rich can speak from real experiences on needs for a robust threat assessment program and implementation strategies.

A retired Police Captain and previous Public Safety Director and Emergency Manager for two hospitals in California, and for John H. Stroger Hospital in Chicago, Rich is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, West Point Leadership Program, Command College, Gavin De Becker, WAVER-21 threat assessment programs, and San Jose State University.

A 20-year veteran at technology titans including AT&T, Lucent Technologies’ Bell Labs and Honeywell International, Rich Mason possesses deep expertise as a cyber security consultant working in physical security within the connected product (‘Internet of things’) environment.A 20-year veteran at technology titans including AT&T, Lucent Technologies’ Bell Labs and Honeywell International, Rich Mason possesses deep expertise as a cyber security consultant working in physical security within the connected product (‘Internet of things’) environment. He served for 5 years as Honeywell’s Global Vice President and Chief Security Officer, and was Honeywell’s first Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) with enterprise cyber security responsibility the 5 years prior to that.

Honeywell is a Fortune 100 conglomerate with a market cap over $100B and 130,000 employees in 120 countries. During his tenure as CSO, Honeywell Global Security earned a #1 ranking in the Industrial and Manufacturing sector as judged by Security Magazine. Mason’s team was featured in the Security 500 Report in an article entitled ‘The Predictive Revolution’.

Mason is a former member of the Secret Service New York Electronic Crimes Task Force (NYECTF), a graduate of the FBI Executive Academy in Quantico, and former member of the FBI National Security Business Alliance Council (NSBAC) and Domestic Security Alliance Council (DSAC). He has conducted hundreds of sensitive and technically complex insider threat and criminal investigations, and has instructed numerous government and military agents on advanced computer forensics tools, investigative techniques and countermeasures.

Professional:

An Alumni with honor of Michigan State University, Mason received his Criminal Justice bachelor’s degree with a specialization in Security Management. He holds a Six Sigma Black Belt and IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL®), is a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) and Chemical Vulnerability Information (CVI) certified, and is a graduate of Honeywell’s Executive Development Program (EDP).

Julia Siebert

Julia's foundational experience includes working in large, matrixed organizations as a cyber security consultant, implementing business strategies and supporting client groups imbedded in the safety & security and manufacturing industries.Julia has held various HR roles of increasing scope and impact over the last 10+ years. Her foundational experience includes working in large, matrixed organizations as a cyber security consultant, implementing business strategies and supporting client groups imbedded in the safety & security and manufacturing industries. Her more recent experience is in the software & technology industry with Cooper Industries/Eaton Corporation, Honeywell Aerospace and Microsoft. Her passions lie in supporting clients in their pursuit of excellence through coaching, humility, service and fun.

As the world evolves and becomes more complex, assessing and reducing risk play an increasingly significant role in the protection of organizations’ intellectual properties, physical properties, brand integrity, and most importantly, the welfare of their people. At PRS, Julia supports our human capital strategy and drives continuous improvement and agility in our approach to the selection of top talent, while navigating federal and state employment laws and ordinances.

Julia is an alumni of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and has a Masters of Human Resources & Industrial Relations degree from the School of Labor & Employment Relations. She also holds a Bachelors in Psychology with a focus on Industrial-Organization Psychology and Human Factors. Julie has completed Green Belt training, and is pursuing a Professional Coaching Certification.
